Together in Dust was born in a dimly lit barn, thick with the smoke of incense and the smell of sweat and hot vacuum tubes. Planted in the soil of introspective and experimental punk and post-hardcore, this music is made to haunt. Or rather, to remind you that we are already haunted.
By the glow of memory.
By interminable moments of bliss.
By the terrifying immediacy of choice.
By the unseen depths of daily living.
By the shapes we see when we shut our eyes.
The band calls Evansville, IN home, and consists of Nate Hicks, Dylan Hancock, Jonathan Heath, and Hieronymus Mitchell. ‘Alive in the Valley’ is their newest record. Made at Forty-One Fifteen in Nashville, TN with Tate Mercer, it is the follow-up to a self-recorded album entitled ‘Cursed Hands Held Tight,’ which was released in the summer of 2013.
